Transformaciones ambientales sufridas en el consejo comunitario de la cuenca baja del rio Calima y sus reconfiguraciones en el orden social y politico

Abstract

RESUMEN

El objetivo del estudio que se realizó en el territorio colectivo del Bajo Calima se centró en identificar las transformaciones ambientales que ha sufrido el Consejo Comunitario de la Cuenca Baja del Rio Calima y sus reconfiguraciones en el orden social y político, considerando que sus dinámicas de vida, convivencia y cosmovisión giran en torno al medio en que estos habitan. La investigación que se desarrolló fue de tipo cualitativa con un diseño etnográfico y una población total de 28 personas, grupo que se conformó de manera estratégica, con la finalidad de reunir visiones diversas sobre el territorio. Se implementaron entrevistas semiestructuradas, grupos focales y diario de campo. Este documento cuenta con capítulos explicativos donde se refleja la posición de los habitantes del Bajo Calima. En estos se dio a conocer la organización político-social del territorio, los daños y afectaciones que trajo la modernidad a este lugar, la ley que ampara al territorio como comunidad negra y cómo esta ha sido un medio para el reconocimiento de los pobladores del Bajo Calima, no dejando de lado las inconsistencias que se encontraron en el mismo. A partir de los análisis de los resultados, se evidenció que el principal desafío que deben afrontar líderes, lideresas y población en general, es la recuperación de la confianza entre sí; Pues el deterioro ambiental es una consecuencia asociada a la debilidad político-organizativa del territorio; no obstante, como bien se logró reconocer en las conclusiones de este escrito. Su principal fortaleza está en el marco del amparo que les otorga el ejercicio de la implementación del derecho propio.

ABSTRACT

The objective of the study that was carried out in the collective territory of Bajo Calima focused on identifying the environmental transformations that the Community Council of the Lower Calima River Basin has undergone and its reconfigurations in the social and political order, considering that its dynamics of life, coexistence and worldview revolve around the environment in which they live. The research that was developed was of a qualitative type with an ethnographic design and a total population of 28 people, a group that was formed strategically, in order to gather diverse visions about the territory. Semi-structured interviews, focus groups and field diary were implemented. This document has explanatory chapters where the position of the inhabitants of Bajo Calima is reflected. In these, the political-social organization of the territory, the damages and affectations that modernity brought to this place, the law that protects the territory as a black community and how this has been a means for the recognition of the inhabitants of the Lower Calima, not leaving aside the inconsistencies that were found in it. From the analysis of the results, it is evident that the main challenge that leaders, leaders and the population in general must face is the recovery of trust among themselves; Well, environmental deterioration is a consequence associated with the political-organizational weakness of the territory; however, as will be well recognized in the conclusions of this writing. Its main strength is in the framework of the protection granted by the exercise of the implementation of its own right.
