Informe de prácticas en el área de despachos en la empresa Logística Internacional S.A.S

Abstract

Este informe trata sobre el proceso de aprendizaje obtenido durante el periodo de práctica en la empresa Logística Internacional S.A.S. En el transcurso se tuvo la oportunidad de aplicar los conocimientos adquiridos en la carrera de Administración de Negocios Internacionales en la Universidad del Pacífico. El informe ofrece una descripción minuciosa de las actividades desempeñadas en el área de despachos de la empresa, las cuales fueron fundamentales para el cumplimiento de los objetivos de aprendizaje propuestos, a fin de garantizar la ejecución de las actividades de manera productiva; del mismo se realizaron las siguientes tareas: recibir, responder y remitir correos electrónicos de clientes, lo cual facilitó una comunicación efectiva y oportuna, radicar citas en puertos clave como TC BUEN, Aguadulce y Sociedad Portuaria, asegurando la sincronización de las operaciones logísticas; la asignación de vehículos y conductores para el cargue de mercancía, subir registros fotográficos para documentar el proceso, el cumplimiento de los manifiestos de carga, la realización de inspecciones físicas generales de las instalaciones y del botiquín, manteniendo estándares de seguridad y la elaboración de hojas de vida para nuevos conductores. Las actividades realizadas ofrecieron una inmersión práctica en los procesos lógicos y administrativos fundamentales para el funcionamiento eficiente de la empresa. A partir de estas experiencias, se identificó una problemática específica que requirió un método investigativo para encontrar soluciones efectivas. Este proceso no solo fortaleció los conocimientos teóricos adquiridos durante la formación académica, sino que también facilitó el desarrollo de habilidades prácticas en el ámbito de los negocios internacionales.

This report deals with the learning process obtained during the internship period at the company Logística Internacional S.A.S. During the course, we had the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired in the International Business Administration career at the Universidad del Pacífico. The report offers a detailed description of the activities carried out in the company's office area, which were fundamental for the fulfillment of the proposed learning objectives, in order to guarantee the execution of the activities in a productive manner; the following tasks were carried out: receiving, responding and sending emails from customers, which facilitated effective and timely communication, filing appointments in key ports such as TC BUEN, Aguadulce and Sociedad Portuaria, ensuring the synchronization of logistics operations; the assignment of vehicles and drivers for the loading of goods, uploading photographic records to document the process, compliance with the cargo manifests, the performance of general physical inspections of the facilities and the first aid kit, maintaining safety standards and the preparation of resumes for new drivers. The activities carried out offered a practical immersion in the logical and administrative processes fundamental for the efficient operation of the company. From these experiences, a specific problem was identified that required an investigative method to find effective solutions. This process not only strengthened the theoretical knowledge acquired during academic training, but also facilitated the development of practical skills in the field of international business.
