El juego de azar y su influencia en las relaciones familiares y sociales en el Espacio Humanitario Puente Nayero en los últimos 5 años en el Distrito de Buenaventura

Abstract

En el Espacio Humanitario Puente Nayero se practican unos diferentes juegos de azar los cuales son: El parqué, el bingo, el billar, el dominó y el naipe, este último se juega con mas frecuencia en la comunidad, primero como una forma de compartir e interactuar entre familiares y amigos. Sin embargo, a partir del año 2015 estos juegos comenzaron a ser objetos de una especial atención cuando algunos habitantes de la comunidad en su gran mayoría mujeres, empezaron a mostrar una gran inclinación por los juegos de azar, pero de manera muy particular el naipe se convirtió en el juego predilecto para hombres, pero especialmente para mujeres que realizan apuestas sustanciosas muchas perdiendo o ganando dinero para cubrir gastos y necesidades de ellas y sus familias. Cabe destacar, que las mujeres que habitan el Espacio Humanitario Puente Nayero tienden a apostar mucho dinero por todo el tiempo que le dedican, el cual está entre 13 y 24 horas consecutivas olvidándose por completo de sus responsabilidades con los hijos y esposos, generando discusiones al interior de la familia y conllevando a agresiones físicas y verbales las cuales al final desencadenan un abandono del hogar del padre de los hijos por el descuido de los hijos por parte de las madres, pero también enemistades y agresiones con los vecinos y otras personas que vienen de otros barrios de Buenaventura. It should be noted that the women who live in the Puente Nayero Humanitarian Space tend to bet a lot of money for all the time they dedicate to it, which is between 13 and 24 consecutive hours, completely forgetting about their responsibilities with their children and husbands, generating discussions at the same time. within the family and leading to physical and verbal aggressions which in the end trigger an abandonment of the home of the father of the children due to the neglect of the children by the mothers, but also enmities and aggressions with the neighbors and other people who come from other neighborhoods of Buenaventura.
